IMD forecasts very dense fog in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Till Tomorrow

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast very dense fog conditions in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand till tomorrow. The IMD said that isolated pockets of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Northeast India are likely to experience dense fog during early morning hours for the next two days.
 
The weather agency has predicted cold wave conditions over Uttarakhand and West Madhya Pradesh tomorrow. The Met Department has also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands till tomorrow.
 
Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR has improved but remains in the very poor category, down from the earlier severe level. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index (AQI) of the National Capital was recorded at 336 as of 7 PM today.
