On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025, President Droupadi Murmu will confer the National Awards to individuals and institutions for their exemplary efforts in empowering Persons with Disabilities, in New Delhi today. The ceremony aims to celebrate the resolve, dedication, and empowerment of persons with disabilities, honouring their courage and accomplishments. Students with disabilities, senior diplomats, industry partners, and dignitaries and officials from the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities are expected to attend the ceremony.
