The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms accompanied with hailstorms over Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra today. The weather agency has predicted heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh for the day and over Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow. Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Kerala, Mahe, North Interior Karnataka, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Vidarbha will experience thunderstorms and lightning during the day. IMD has said that Northwest India will witness a gradual rise in maximum temperatures by two to four degree Celsius till Friday. Meanwhile, maximum temperatures will dip by two to four degree Celsius in Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and the eastern part of the country today.
