The International Film Festival Delhi, IFFD, is underway at the iconic Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The Festival aims to position the national capital as a key hub for global cinema, creative industries, and film tourism. Talking exclusively to Akashvani News, Director and Writer Nikhil Advani said that places like Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, and Hauz Khas are the peculiarities of Delhi which make it a favourite destination for film shooting.
The festival marks the birth centenary of renowned actor and filmmaker Guru Dutt with a special retrospective featuring restored screenings of his works, including ‘Pyaasa’.
