In the Saranda area of West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, an IED was recovered during an anti-Naxal operation and was safely defused on the spot by the bomb disposal squad. The explosive was found during a search operation along the roadside between Edelbeda and Babudera under the Jaraikela police station limits. After spotting a suspicious object, security forces cordoned off the area, and experts confirmed it was a powerful explosive device, which was subsequently neutralised.
