In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, United States of America defeated Netherlands by 93 runs in the Group A clash at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai last night.

After being invited to bat first, USA scored 196 for 6 in the stipulated 20 overs, with Saiteja Mukkamalla scoring highest 79 runs. In reply, Netherlands were bundled out for just 103 runs in the 16th over. For USA, Harmeet Singh bagged 4 wickets and he was also adjudged Player of the Match.

Earlier in the day, United Arab Emirates defeated Canada by 5 wickets in Delhi, while Zimbawe outclassed Australia by 23 runs in a thrilling encounter in Colombo.

Today, Ireland will take on Oman in Colombo at 11 AM while England will be up against Scotland in Kolkata at 3 PM. New Zealand will face South Africa in Ahmedabad from 7 this evening.
