ICC T20 World Cup Trophy tour boosts enthusiasm among Nepali cricket fans

In the T20 World Cup Trophy tour in Nepal, the Trophy is displayed at the Boudha Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Kathmandu, for public viewing. On 7 January, it will be showcased at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Basantapur Durbar Square in Kathmandu. On Tuesday, the trophy was on display in Pokhara.

Unveiling the trophy in Sheetal Niwas in Kathmandu, President Ramchandra Paudel said that the T-20 World Cup trophy coming to Nepal is a proud moment for the country. President Paudel expressed gratitude to the International Cricket Council for bringing the World Cup trophy to Nepal, noting that the visit has significantly boosted enthusiasm among Nepali cricket fans.

Nepal’s Rohit Paudel will lead 15 member squad in the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup to be held in India in the coming month. He continues to rise as one of Nepal’s most composed and tactically astute batters. The 23-year-old all-rounder has been a central figure in Nepal’s recent growth in the cricket world, offering stability with the bat as well as calm leadership under pressure.
