The Institute of Aerospace Medicine (IAM) will host the 64th annual conference Indian Society of Aerospace Medicine in Bengaluru. The two-day conference will be inaugurated tomorrow by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh. Ministry of Defence said that the conference will host approximately 3 hundred delegates from across the country and abroad. Participants will also include researchers from associated institutions, including prominent scientists from DRDO labs and ISRO.
The Ministry added that the conference will feature a robust agenda filled with scientific discussions, presentations and networking opportunities that aim to shape the future of aerospace medicine research and policy in the country. This edition of the conference is themed ‘Innovations in Aerospace Medicine: Infinite Possibilities’, which highlights the innovative approaches by aerospace medicine practitioners in balancing the safety and optimal performance requirements of the aviators.
