Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, said that air power has emerged as a decisive instrument of national security in today’s uncertain global environment. In his address on the eve of 93rd Air Force Day, the Air Chief Marshal emphasised that the Indian Air Force stands ready to respond to every challenge with speed, precision and determination.

He said, by launching Operation Sindoor, India gave a befitting reply to the enemy of the Pahalgam terror attack. Mr Singh added that when the enemy tried to attack the civilian population and military installations, the Indian Air Force launched precise and measured attacks on them, forcing the enemy to hold peace talks.

The Air Chief Marshal underscored that the Air Force Day is dedicated to those Air Warriors who have protected the skies of the nation with sacrifice and diligence.
