HS Prannoy and Ayush Shetty lead india’s charge at Korea Open 2025 Badminton Tournament

Indian shuttler HS Prannoy and Ayush Shetty will lead the country’s charge at the Korea Open 2025 badminton tournament, scheduled to start from tomorrow. A World Championships bronze medalist and former world no. 6, HS Prannoy, has struggled for consistency since 2023. Now ranked 33rd, he is still chasing his first Badminton World Federation World Tour title since the Malaysia Masters.

Another big hope is Ayush Shetty, who has emerged as India’s most promising young talent. The 22-year-old from Mangalore remains the only Indian shuttler to lift a BWF title this season, claiming the US Open crown. India will also have representation in doubles, with the mixed pair of Mohit Jaglan and Lakshita Jaglan opening against Japan’s Yuichi Shimogami and Sayaka Hobara.
