Maharashtra Food and Civil Supplies Minister Chhagan Bhujbal has announced that hotels and restaurants in the state will now receive an additional 20 per cent LPG supply. He said, following central government directives, the increased allocation will cover hotels, dhabas, restaurants, industrial canteens, food processing and dairy units, as well as subsidised canteens and community kitchens run by the state or local bodies. The minister added that the new guidelines for commercial LPG distribution are expected to provide relief to hotel and restaurant operators across the state.
