PM Modi and Home Minister Pays Tribute to Former Tamil Nadu CM J. Jayalalithaa on Birth Anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today remembered former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on her birth anniversary. In a social media post, Prime Minister Modi said, Jayalalithaa has made a place in the hearts and minds of countless people as a charismatic leader and outstanding administrator. Lauding her journey, Mr Modi said that her life journey was one of immense grit and determination. He also highlighted that as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, she championed welfare-driven governance with a strong focus on women empowerment, social justice and inclusive development. The Prime Minister described Jayalalithaa as both compassionate and decisive as well as recalled his interactions with her.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah today paid tributes to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa on her birth anniversary. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that through her commitment to the welfare of the poor and empowerment of women, Mrs Jayalalithaa reshaped the development of Tamil Nadu and ensured governance reached the last person. He added that her dedication to public service will always remain an inspiration.

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L Murugan today paid tribute to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on her birth anniversary. In a social media post, Dr. Murugan remembered Jayalalithaa for her contribution to the development of Tamil Nadu. He said Dr Jayalalithaa went on to dedicate herself to public service and introduced several landmark social welfare schemes for the upliftment of the common people. The Minister also highlighted her initiatives in the fields of women’s welfare, education and social justice through her leadership and governance.
