President Droupadi Murmu has paid floral tributes to the former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, on his birth anniversary at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tribute to former President Pranab Mukherjee. In a social media post, he hailed Mr Mukherjee for being a towering statesman and a scholar of exceptional depth. He added that the former President served the country with unwavering dedication across decades of public life.

The Prime Minister also said that Mr Mukherjee’s intellect and clarity of thought enriched the country’s democracy at every step.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tributes to former President Pranab Mukherjee on his birth anniversary today. In a social media post, Mr Shah lauded the late leader for his dedication to public service.

The Home Minister added that the profound understanding of the constitution defined Mr Mukharjee’s tenures in public offices. Mr Shah also said that the life and works of the former President will continue to inspire the democratic journey of the country.
