Netherlands led 2-0 at halftime with goals from Pien Sanders and Fay van der Elst. However, India made a strong comeback as Deepika and Baljeet Kaur scored to level the match. In the shootout, Deepika and Mumtaz Khan scored for India, while Marijn Veen was the only scorer for the Netherlands, securing India’s victory. India women’s sits sixth in the standings with nine points from eight games. India had lost 2-4 to the same opponents earlier this week.
