Union Home Minister Amit Shah described the Kalyan magazine published by Gita Press as a strong foundation of India’s cultural consciousness. He said that Gita Press works not for profit, but for shaping generations. Mr. Shah was addressing the release ceremony of the centenary issue of Gita Press’s monthly magazine Kalyan in Rishikesh in Uttarakhand today. He said that Kalyan is not merely a magazine, but a guiding force of India’s spiritual consciousness, which has preserved the core values of Indian culture even during challenging times.
The Union Home Minister is in Uttarakhand on a two-day visit. He will participate in various programs in Haridwar tomorrow.
