President, Vice Prez, PM & HM Amit Shah extend greetings on Odisha Day

President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have greeted the people of Odisha on its Statehood Day. 
 
In a social media post, the President said that the occasion celebrates the state’s rich cultural heritage, timeless traditions, and the resilience of its people. 
 
President Murmu said that Odisha’s invaluable contribution to the country’s freedom struggle and nation-building continues to inspire everyone. 
 
The President said that the talented and hardworking people of the state are playing a significant role in the journey of Viksit Bharat.
 
She prayed Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannath for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Odisha.
 
The Vice-President said that the day is a celebration of the State’s glorious cultural legacy, rich traditions and the indomitable spirit of its people. 
 
Mr Radhakrishnan wished that the State march ahead on the path of peace, prosperity and progress, and contribute significantly to the vision of Viksit Bharat.
 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Odisha is a state that stands tall as a timeless symbol of cultural as well as spiritual greatness. Mr Modi said that Odia music, art and literature have enriched India in countless ways. 
 
The Prime Minister said that the people of Odisha, known for their determination, simplicity and warmth, have made remarkable contributions across fields. He wished that Odisha keep scaling new heights of progress in the times to come.
