Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Navkar Mahamantra is a powerful medium to adopt peace and spirituality for Jainism as well as the entire human society.

Addressing the saints and devotees in New Delhi today on World Navkar Mahamantra Day, Mr Shah said that India is home to many communities and religions. He said that the mantra gives life vigour and it awakens the consciousness.

Mr Shah congratulated Jain International Trade Organization for chanting the peaceful Navkar Mantra from Delhi ​​for the welfare of the entire world, especially at a time when the whole world is bent upon war to impose its will upon one another.
