HM Amit Shah addresses centenary year celebrations organised by Gayatri Pariwar in Uttarakhand

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah today addressed the centenary year celebrations organised by the Gayatri Pariwar in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. He said that Haridwar is a sacred Kumbh region, known as the land of penance of the Saptarishis. 
 
He added that on this divine land, saints have, through their spiritual strength, inspired not only themselves but also crores of people to move forward on the path of spirituality. 
 
Mr Shah said that it was on this very land that Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya and Vandaniya Mata Ji carried out the great task of awakening Gayatri energy.
 
Describing the Akhand Jyoti Conference as a unique confluence of faith, spirituality and culture, he said that he was experiencing a sense of eternal energy and consciousness by being present there. 
 
He also said that Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya paved the way for the revival of faith, spirituality and culture through the path of individual character building. 
 
 
Earlier, the Union Minister inaugurated the Patanjali Emergency and Critical Care Hospital in Haridwar. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was also present on the occasion.
