Himachal Pradesh: PM Gram Sadak Yojana strengthens rural road connectivity in Sirmour district

The Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is proving to be highly effective in the rural areas of Sirmour district in Himachal Pradesh. Through this scheme, all inaccessible regions are being connected via road networks. In the fourth phase of the scheme, approval has been granted for 11 roads.

90 crore rupees will be spent on the construction of the 11 roads slated for development under the fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Of these 11 roads, five have been sanctioned for Paonta Sahib, three for Shillai, and one each for Nahan, Pachhad, and Rajgarh.

The concerned department is currently finalising the tendering process for the construction of these roads, and the actual construction work is expected to begin soon. The construction of these roads in the rural areas of Sirmour district will significantly strengthen connectivity and provide residents with improved transportation facilities.
