The monsoon remains active in Himachal Pradesh, and continuous rainfall across most parts of the state is affecting normal life. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rainfall at several places till 15th August. A Yellow Alert has been issued for today and tomorrow, 10th August, for heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms at some locations. From 11th to 14th August, with the monsoon expected to become more active and heavy to very heavy rainfall likely at many places, an Orange Alert has been issued. On 15th August, a Yellow Alert for heavy rain will remain in effect.
