Himachal Pradesh witnessed a change in the weather today, with hailstorms and light rainfall affecting several areas. Over the past 24 hours, snowfall has also been reported on higher peaks. In the tribal district of Lahaul-Spiti, intermittent snowfall continued in the district headquarters, Keylong, as well as in the sub-divisions of Kaza and Udaipur.

Snowfall also occurred in the higher-altitude areas of Chamba, Kullu, and Kinnaur districts. The sudden weather change has led to a drop in temperatures, with heavy rainfall and hailstorms reported in the state capital, Shimla. The Meteorological Department has forecast more thunderstorms, hailstorms, and rainfall in some areas over the next 24 hours.
