Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today addressed a first-of-its-kind State-Level Health Dialogue Session in Shimla. He announced an overhaul of the health sector, asserting that revolutionary changes would be visible within one year and the state would emerge as the country’s number one state in healthcare services within the next three years. Mr Sukhu announced that the State Government would invest nearly 3,000 crore rupees over the next three years to equip health institutions with world-class high-end medical technology. He also announced 1,300 crore rupees under JICA Phase-II to strengthen healthcare delivery.
