The annual examinations for grades 10 and 12 have begun today in Himachal Pradesh. The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has established 2,384 examination centers for the successful conduct of the examinations. Board Chairman Rajesh Sharma stated that over 184,000 regular and SOS students will appear for the examinations this year.
He added that the State School Education Board has implemented a seven-tier special monitoring system to prevent cheating. A special monitoring room has been set up at the Board headquarters, where all examination centers will be monitored online via screens. The Board has also formed special flying squads for surprise inspections.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, wishing the candidates a bright future, called these examinations a testament to the students’ hard work, patience, and self-confidence.
