In view of the conflict and tension in West Asia, the Himachal government is on full alert and is continuously monitoring the situation. Giving this information, Industry Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan assured that all Himachal citizens living in West Asia are safe.

He said that the state government is in constant touch with the Ministry of External Affairs and is ascertaining how many people from the state are present in the affected area. Harsh Vardhan Chauhan also said that as soon as the situation in the affected area becomes normal and international flights are resumed, necessary assistance will be ensured for those returning to India.
