In Himachal Pradesh hundreds of employees working with the 108 and 102 ambulance services have begun a 132-hour strike. The strike has been called for the implementation of labour laws, payment of minimum wages, an end to employee harassment, and other related issues. The 108 and 102 Ambulance Employees’ Union have warned that they will intensify their agitation if their demands are not met.
