The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall over Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal for tomorrow. The Met Department has also predicted heavy rainfall over Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

The weather agency said that thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are expected over Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Telangana for the next two days. Squally winds will also prevail along and off the coasts of Kerala, Karnataka coasts, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu and adjoining south Andhra Pradesh tomorrow.
