The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal tomorrow.  IMD said that light to moderate rainfall is expected in parts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana and Rayalaseema over the next few days.

 

 

Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning is also very likely at isolated places over Andhra Pradesh, Interior Karnataka, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal tomorrow. 

 

 

Meanwhile, air quality in the Delhi-NCR region continues to remain in the poor category, with an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 291 recorded at 4 PM today.

 

 

The sub-committee of the Commission for Air Quality Management has already imposed the Graded Response Action Plan- GRAP-2 under the restrictions in the National Capital Region.
