Health Minister JP Nadda Salutes Troops in Pithoragarh, Reviews Border Projects

Union Health Minister JP Nadda has said that the whole country is proud of the sacrifice and dedication of the brave soldiers. Mr Nadda today met the soldiers of the Army, ITBP, and SSB in Pithoragarh, the border district of Uttarakhand, and thanked the soldiers for the success of Operation Sindoor. During this, he also took information about the weapons, equipment and other defence resources deployed in the defence of the border.

 

The Union Minister is on a two-day visit to Pithoragarh. During this, Pithoragarh District Magistrate Vinod Goswami gave a presentation to the Union Minister on the ongoing schemes and proposed programmes under Vibrant Village related to various departments. Along with this, the Tourism Department gave information about tourism schemes, Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra arrangements. The Health Minister was also informed about the schemes being run under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme.

 

Mr. Nadda is also scheduled to inspect the Primary Health Centre at Gunji village in Pithoragarh, visit Adi Kailash from Jyolingkong and visit the Home Stay run by the Women’s Federation at Gunji.
