Health Minister JP Nadda Observes World Mental Health Day, Urges Focus on Well-Being

World Mental Health Day is being observed across the globe today. The day aims to raise awareness about mental health issues and mobilise efforts in support of mental health care worldwide. 
 
 
In a social media post, Health Minister JP Nadda said that the day reminds people to prioritise their emotional and mental well-being. He said this day also gives an opportunity to raise awareness and encourage open conversations about mental health.
 
 
The Minister said, this year’s theme, Access to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies, highlights the need to ensure support systems are available during emergencies. Mr Nadda asked everyone to work together to build a society that promotes care, understanding and timely access to mental health services for all.
