Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, J. P. Nadda, visited National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) at Mohali today, where he was briefed about the state-of-the-art research facilities at the institute.
This visit underscores the Central Government’s continued commitment to strengthening pharmaceutical education, fostering innovation, and advancing research and development in the biopharmaceutical sector. He interacted with the students as well.
The Minister was presented with the institute’s vision, key performance indicators and strategic roadmap by the Director of the institute, Prof. Dulal Panda during the Board Room meeting.
Mr Nadda also visited prototype exhibitions of translational research outcomes which also included presentations on industry collaborations, patents, and clinical trial initiatives undertaken by NIPER. Later, he inaugurated the NIPER Medicinal Succulents Garden.
