Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda today convened a review meeting with the officials of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, CDSCO in New Delhi. Health Secretary Apurva Chandra and other senior officials were present during the meeting. The CDSCO regulates the quality, safety and efficacy of Drugs, Medical Devices and Cosmetics in the country.
Earlier this month Mr. Nadda also reviewed the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-PMJAY and Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission-ABDM with senior officials of the National Health Authority.
