Haryana Pushes for Modern, Inclusive Urban Development Policies
Speaking on the occasion, Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi said continuous improvements in urban policies and regulatory frameworks are essential to keep pace with the state’s rapidly evolving urban landscape and development needs. He noted that while the 1975 Act has significantly supported planned urban development, infrastructure creation, and economic growth over the past five decades, the time has now come to take it to the next level.
Mr. Rastogi further emphasised that coordination and synergy among government institutions, planners, and industry stakeholders are crucial for ensuring balanced, inclusive, and future-ready urban development across Haryana.
