Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced several relief and assistance measures for the deceased and injured in the Surajkund swing ride collapse incident.

 

The Chief Minister expressed condolences to the family of Inspector Jagdish Prasad, the police officer who died in the accident. He said, the state government stands firmly with the martyr’s family during this difficult time. The Chief Minister assured that all possible assistance would be provided to the family of the deceased officer. He also announced to give a government job to a family member.

 

The Chief Minister informed that the state Government will cover all treatment cost of those injured. He said, those seriously injured will be given a compensation of one lakh rupees each. The Chief Minister has directed the concerned authorities to ensure strict adherence to safety standards at the fair and other public events.
