Haryana’s Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda said that on the lines of PM Shri Schools, the state government will soon start CM Shri Schools. These schools will follow the CBSE pattern. He was replying to a question raised by a member during the Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
The Education Minister stated that the Education Department has reserved 25 percent seats at the entry-level classes in private schools for students belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Disadvantaged Groups (DG).
The Minister informed that during the last academic session, a total of 14,127 applications were received for admission in private schools under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, out of which 11,803 successful applicants were allotted private schools.
