The Government of Gujarat has assured people of an uninterrupted supply of LPG and LNG across the state, despite global energy challenges. Following a high-level review meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the state administration confirmed that coordinated efforts are underway with the Central Government and oil marketing companies to maintain a steady supply of fuel for households.
According to the official release, the Department of Food and Civil Supplies, along with the Energy and Petrochemicals Department, continues to monitor the situation daily to ensure that the essential energy needs of every citizen are met without fail. While a limited supply cut has been applied to the industrial sector, the government confirmed that new LNG shipments from non-conflict zones are expected to arrive in India soon. Our correspondent reports that there are over thirty-seven lakh domestic PNG customers and more than one thousand CNG stations in Gujarat.
