Gujarat government has assured the public of a steady energy supply despite global challenges. Briefing the media after the cabinet meeting today, Cabinet Minister Jitu Vaghani urged citizens to remain vigilant against rumours and misinformation. The minister said strict legal action will be taken against anyone involved in black marketing and hoarding of LPG.
Mr. Vaghani stated that a specialized committee, led by the Chief Secretary, has been formed to manage gas resources in the state amid the ongoing West Asia conflict. He said while commercial units will receive eighty percent of their required supply, there is no shortage for the general public.
