In a significant step towards strengthening port-led development in the country, Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal has approved around 132 crore rupees for critical port connectivity project at Deendayal Port Authority, Gujarat. Mr Sonowal said, this project reflects government’s commitment to modern, efficient and seamless port-led connectivity under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, the construction of Road Over Bridge at the Port will remove critical bottlenecks, improve cargo movement and strengthen India’s logistics efficiency.
