Gujarat is celebrating its statehood day today. The state-level celebrations for the 66th Statehood Day will be held in Surat this evening, which will feature a grand parade led by Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The parade will include police platoons, various department tableaux, and bike stunts, followed by a cultural programme at Dumas Seafront to showcase the state’s development journey. In his message to the state, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel thanked the people for their continued trust in the government. He expressed a resolve to make Gujarat a world-class model state by 2035. The Chief Minister also credited the success of the state’s growth to the integration of industry and tradition.
