Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0'

 

The second phase of 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' was launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi  on World Environment Day. The essence of 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' is a symbolic gesture-planting a tree in the name of one's mother. This simple act serves a dual purpose: honouring the role of mothers in nurturing life and contributing to the health of the planet. Trees are life-sustaining, and just like a mother, they provide sustenance, protection, and a future for the next generation. Through this initiative, participants can create a lasting memory, planting a tree as a living tribute to their mothers, while also addressing the  pressing need for environmental preservation.

Returning to Delhi, Prime Minister Modi said the Sindoor plant is a symbol of valour, bravery, resilience, and the essence of Indian woman. In a post on his X Handle PM Modi stated, "The brave mothers and sisters of Kutch, who set an example of courage and valour in the 1971 war, recently presented me with a Sindoor plant during my visit to Gujarat. I have had the privilege of planting that plant in the Prime Minister's residence in New Delhi. This plant will remain a strong symbol of the valour and inspiration of the women power of our country."

In Delhi, Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan formally launched the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' 2.0 campaign. In the previous year, over five crore trees were planted by educational institutions across the country.

आज विश्व जूनोटिक रोग रोकथाम दिवस है। जूनोटिक रोग या जूनोसिस एक संक्रामक रोग है जो जानवरों और मनुष्यों के बीच फैल सकता है। ये रोग वायरस, बैक्टीरिया, परजीवी और कवक जैसे विभिन्न रोगजनकों के कारण हो सकते हैं। जूनोटिक रोग काफी आम हैं, 60% से अधिक मानव रोगजनक जानवरों से उत्पन्न होते हैं। जूनोटिक रोग विभिन्न तरीकों से फैल सकते हैं, जिसमें संक्रमित जानवरों के साथ सीधा संपर्क, उनके तरल पदार्थ जैसे लार, रक्त और मूत्र, काटने, या दूषित भोजन, पानी या पर्यावरण के माध्यम से शामिल हैं। कुछ प्रसिद्ध जूनोटिक रोगों में रेबीज, लाइम रोग, वेस्ट नाइल वायरस और साल्मोनेला शामिल हैं।

In India, the research by the ICMR has suggested that in order to eliminate dog mediated rabies by 2030, India must fast track its action through focussed health approach. ICMR has said that nearly 9.1 million animal bites and 5726 human rabies deaths due to dog bites are estimated to occur every year in India. The dog bite incident was higher among children aged 0 to 14 years and elderly aged above 60 years.

More than 10 lakh devotees across the country and abroad are expected to witness this once-a-year golden spectacle today. The Suna Besha, meaning ‘golden attire,’ features deities adorned with gold ornaments. The administration and Police have implemented elaborate security arrangements

 

to ensure the smooth conduct of the event and the safety of the pilgrims. Over 10,000 police personnel, including special tactical units, intelligence teams, and disaster response forces, have been deployed across the city.Temple priests and sevayats are performing the rituals, following centuries-old customs and

traditions. The event is not just a religious ritual but a celebration of the enduring spiritual bond between the Lord and His devotees.

इंदौर के हर घर को यह डिजिटल पता एक सटीक और यूनिक डिजिटल पहचान देगा। नगर निगम आयुक्त शिवम वर्मा ने बताया कि सभी घरों के सामने एक डिजिटल प्लेट लगेगी जिसे स्कैन कर  घर से जुड़ी जानकारी  मिल सकेगी। इसके माध्यम से नागरिकं संपत्ति कर, जल कर, बिजली बिल का भुगतान, विभिन्न प्रमाण पत्र और सेवा में कमी की शिकायत सहित 20 से अधिक सेवाएं ले सकेंगे। यूनिक क्यूआर कोड स्कैन करते ही मोबाइल पर एक पेज खुलेगा जिससे इन सुविधाओं का लाभ लिया जा सकेगा। इस पायलट प्रोजेक्ट की शुरुआत पिछले हफ्ते महापौर पुष्यमित्र भार्गव ने सुदामा नगर से की है। महापौर श्री भार्गव ने बताया कि यह पता भारत सरकार के डिजिपिन प्लेटफार्म से जुड़ा होगा जिसे इंडिया पोस्ट ने आईआईटी हैदराबाद और इसरो के सहयोग से विकसित किया है। इसकी सहायता से बिना जीपीएस  सुविधा के भी सटीकता के साथ घर को खोजना आसान होगा। इस क्यूआर कोड में घर की सामान्य पहचान ही होगी जिससे घर में निवास करने वाले व्यक्तियों की निजी जानकारी सुरक्षित रहेगी। प्रशांत शर्मा, आकाशवाणी समाचार भोपाल

Like every year, the Waari – the iconic pilgrimage – has reached Pandharpur, where thousands of Varkaris have gathered to meet their beloved Vithu Mauli and Rakhumai. However, there are many who, though unable to participate in the Waari physically, express their devotion through unique and artistic ways. One such devotee is Mallinath Tawaskar from Solapur in Maharashtra. More from our Mumbai correspondent:

 

 

 

Kashinath Tawaskar, an artist hailing from Malkavathe in Solapur and currently residing in Pune, has created an illustration of the divine duo – Vithoba and Rakhumai – on two grains of rice. Highlighting Vithoba’s iconic black form, his hands resting on his waist, adorned with gold ornaments, and Rakhumai in her traditional attire, this tiny and intricate painting beautifully captures the spirit of the Waari, the Varkaris, and the unique relationship they share with Vithoba-Rakhumai. Let us hear more from Kashinath Tawaskar himself.

Kashinath, apart from being an artist, also shares a deeply emotional bond with the deity he has painted on the grains of rice. Let us listen in.

A glance at the literature, Abhangs, and Bhajans dedicated to Vithoba reveals that he is often referred to as the giver, the provider of everything – even the humble morsels of food on the plates of the poor. Through his artwork, Kashinath Tawaskar has elevated this sentiment to an entirely new level by portraying Vithoba and Rakhumai on a grain of rice itself. प्रताप नारायण मिश्र की आज पुण्यतिथि है। वे आधुनिक हिन्दी निर्माताओं में से एक माने जाते हैं। प्रताप नारायण मिश्र हिन्दी खड़ी बोली और भारतेन्दु युग के उन्नायक कहे जाते हैं। प्रताप नारायण मिश्र ने एक लेखक, कवि और पत्रकार के रूप में विशेष प्रसिद्धि पाई थी। मिश्र जी की भारतेन्दु हरिश्चन्द्र में अनन्य श्रद्धा थी। वह स्वयं को उनका शिष्य कहते थे तथा देवता के समान उनका स्मरण करते थे। भारतेन्दु जैसी रचना शैली, विषयवस्तु और भाषागत विशेषताओं के कारण ही प्रताप नारायण मिश्र को 'प्रतिभारतेन्दु' या 'द्वितीयचन्द्र' आदि कहा जाने लगा था। मिश्र जी द्वारा लिखे हुए निबंधों में विषय की पर्याप्त विविधता है। देश-प्रेम, समाज-सुधार एवं साधारण मनोरंजन आदि उनके निबंधों के मुख्य विषय थे। मिश्र जी भारतेन्दु मंडल के प्रमुख लेखकों में से एक थे।

 

 

रचनाएँ- काव्य - 'कानपुर माहात्म्य', 'तृप्यन्ताम्‌', 'तारापति पचीसी', 'दंगल खण्ड' उनकी कई रचनाएं प्रताप नारायण मिश्र कवितावली' में संग्रहीत हैं।

Born on 7 February 1478, Sir Thomas More was also a Chancellor to Henry VIII, and Lord High Chancellor of England from October 1529 to 16 May 1532.

 

He wrote Utopia, published in 1516, about the political system of an imaginary, ideal island nation. More opposed the Protestant Reformation, directing polemics against the theology of Martin Luther, John Calvin and William Tyndale.

आज पुण्यतिथि है अमृतलाल बेगड़ की। वे प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार, चित्रकार और नर्मदा प्रेमी थे। उन्होंने नर्मदा नदी के संरक्षण में उल्लेखनीय भूमिका निभाई और पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए उल्लेखनीय काम किया। उन्होंने नर्मदा की 4 हज़ार किलोमीटर की पदयात्रा की। उन्होंने नर्मदा नदी के आस-पास फैली अद्भुत जैव विविधता से दुनिया को परिचित कराया। उन्होंने 1977 में 47 वर्ष की आयु में नर्मदा परिक्रमा करनी शुरू की, जो 2009 तक जारी रही। उनकी नर्मदा वृतांत की तीन पुस्तकें हिंदी, गुजरती, मराठी, बांगला, अंग्रेज़ी और संस्कृत भाषा में प्रकाशित हुईं। उन्हें गुजराती और हिंदी में 'साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार' और 'महापंडित राहुल सांकृत्यायन पुरस्कार' जैसे अनेक राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कारों से उन्हें सम्मानित किया गया। सौंदर्य की नदी नर्मदा, अमृतस्य नर्मदा, तीरे-तीरे नर्मदा उनकी प्रमुख रचनाएं हैं।

आज पुण्‍यतिथि है प्रसिद्ध हिंदी फ़िल्म निर्माता-निर्देशक और पटकथा लेखक चेतन आनंद की। चेतन आनंद सदाबहार अभिनेता देव आनंद के बड़े भाई थे। इतिहास के शिक्षक रहे चेतन ने वर्ष 1940 के दशक के शुरू में सम्राट अशोक पर एक फ़िल्म की पटकथा लिखी थी। उनका फ़िल्मी सफर वर्ष 1944 में आई फणी मजूमदार की फ़िल्म 'राजकुमार' से शुरू हुआ। उस फ़िल्म में वह मुख्य भूमिका में थे। चेतन ने अभिनय छोड़कर निर्देशन के क्षेत्र में किस्मत आजमाई और जल्द ही उन्होंने इतिहास रच दिया। वर्ष 1946 में बतौर निर्देशक उनकी पहली फ़िल्म 'नीचा नगर' ने कान फ़िल्म महोत्‍सव में सर्वश्रेष्ठ फ़िल्म का पुरस्कार हासिल किया। उन्‍हें राष्ट्रीय फ़िल्म पुरस्कार, फ़िल्मफेयर अवार्ड सहित कई राष्‍ट्रीय और अंतरराष्‍ट्रीय पुरस्‍कारों से नवाजा गया। उनकी प्रमुख फिल्‍म हैं- आँधियाँ, टॅक्सी ड्राइवर, फ़ंटूश, काला बाज़ार, किनारे किनारे, हक़ीक़त, आखिरी खत, हीर रांझा, हंसते ज़ख्म, हिंदुस्तान की कसम, जानेमन,  साहब बहादुर, कुदरत, हाथों की लकीरें। आईए सुनते हैं फिल्‍म हीर रांझा से ये गीत ....

आज जयंती है प्रसिद्ध फिल्‍म निर्माता-निर्देशक मणि कौल की। उसकी रोटी, आषाढ़ का एक दिन और सतह से उठता आदमी जैसी यथार्थ की पृष्ठभूमि से जुड़ी लीक से हटकर फ़िल्में बनाने वाले प्रख्यात फ़िल्म निर्देशक मणि कौल को नए भारतीय सिनेमा के पुरोधाओं में से एक माना जाता है। उनकी मुख्य फ़िल्में हैं- उसकी रोटी, आषाढ़ का एक दिन, दुविधा, इडियट, नौकर की कमीज़। उन्‍हें राष्ट्रीय फ़िल्म पुरस्कार और फ़िल्मफेयर पुरस्कार से सम्‍मानित किया गया है।

Syama Prasad Mukherjee born on 6 July 1901 was a politician, barrister and academician, who served as the Minister for Industry and Supply in Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru's cabinet.

 

He quit the Union Government because of differences of opinion with the government on the issue of Jammu & Kashmir.

 

With the help of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, he founded the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the predecessor to the Bharatiya Janata Party, in 1951.He was also the president of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha from 1943 to 1946.

 

 

Mukherjee was strongly opposed to Article 370 seeing it as a threat to the unity of the country and fought against it inside and outside the parliament with one of the goals of Bharatiya Jana Sangh being the abrogation of the article.

 

 

His dream to repeal Article 370 saw the light of day on 5 August 2019 with the bill being tabled in Rajya Sabha.

 

He died in the custody of Abdulla led government of J&K in 1953.

Mysterious conditions suspected primary reason was heart attack.

The then opposition alleged Nehru & J&K police for the conspiracy.

Since BJP is the successor party of Bhartiya Jana Sangh, Mukherjee is regarded as the founder of BJP too.

He won his first critical acclaim as an actor for his co-starring role as Stanley Rosiello in The Lords of Flatbush.Stallone mostly only found gradual work as an extra or side character in films with a sizeable budget until he achieved his greatest critical and commercial success as an actor, starting in 1976 with his self-created role as the boxer Rocky Balboa, in the first film of the successful Rocky series (1976–2018).

 

In the films, Rocky is portrayed as an underdog fighter that battles with numerous brutal opponents, and wins the world heavyweight championship twice.

 

 

The last two entries in the series are Creed and Creed 2, that serve as spin-off films focusing on Adonis Creed, the son of the ill-fated boxer Apollo Creed, whom the long retired Rocky is a mentor to.

 

He received his first Golden Globe award for the first Creed, as well as a third Oscar nomination, having been first nominated for the same role 40 years prior. Stallone had similar box-office success, portraying the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder plagued soldier John Rambo in the five Rambo films between 1982 to 2019 and as mercenary Barney Ross in the three The Expendables films between 2010 to 2014.

 

He became the third man in history to receive these two nominations for the same film, after Charlie Chaplin and Orson Welles.

प्रसिद्ध वैज्ञानिक दौलत सिंह कोठारी की आज जयंती है। वे उन लोगों में शामिल थे जो भारत के प्रथम प्रधानमंत्री जवाहरलाल नेहरू की विज्ञान नीति का हिस्सा थे जिसमें दौलत सिंह कोठारी के अलावा होमी भाभा, मेघनाथ साहा और सी. वी. रमन थे। डॉ. कोठारी रक्षामंत्री के वैज्ञानिक सलाहकार भी रहे। साल 1961 में वह 'विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग' के अध्यक्ष नियुक्त हुए,
