Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that his Ministry will implement focused skilling initiatives, especially for minorities, with the objective of strengthening livelihoods, promoting self-reliance, and enabling nationalintegration across the country. Mr Rijiju along with Minister of State for Minority Affairs George Kurian, was interacting with Special Guests of Independence Day Ceremony. The Minister highlighted that empowering youth with skills is empowering the nation itself and reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to leaving no community behind in India’s journey of growth. About a hundred trainees of the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee ,being trained under the PM VIKAS scheme were invited as Special Guests at the event. These guests will also attend Independence Day flag hoisting ceremony tomorrow at the Red Fort.
