Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has said that the Special Intensive Revision, or SIR, of electoral rolls has not yet begun in the state, but guidelines from the Election Commission of India are expected soon.
Addressing a BJP party meeting at Bhagat Singh Yuba Awas in Agartala, he assured that the government is preparing to ensure accurate information reaches the public and that no genuine voter is left out.
The Chief Minister Saha, mentioned that the State government has already taken necessary administrative steps with a focus on infrastructure, technology and grassroots implementation. The meeting, organised by the BJP state unit, also reviewed future strategies and organisational strengthening.
