The government has debunked the contents of a video purportedly showing Prime Minister Narendra Modi promising that school-going children will receive free recharges on their mobiles. The Press Information Bureau’s Fact Check Unit stated that the claim is fake and the viral video was created by artificial intelligence (AI). 

 

The government has advised everyone to verify such information only through the official website http://myscheme.gov.in.
