Governor Manoj Sinha Lays Foundation for Poonch Rehabilitation Project

Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha today laid the foundation stone for a significant rehabilitation project aimed at supporting families of Poonch affected by the Operation Sindoor and floods. This project, initiated by HRDS India, is part of the government’s larger effort to restore the lives and livelihoods of the families affected by Pakistani shelling and landslide and flood. 
 
 
During his visit, Mr. Sinha interacted with the affected families and the local community. He assured the residents of Poonch that the Government is committed to their welfare and long-term development. He said, the administration is focusing on the comprehensive development of the Poonch district, highlighting the Government’s focus on restoring normalcy and improving infrastructure in the region. The LG said that his administration has disbursed 173 crore rupees for road infrastructure projects across Poonch. He emphasized that these funds will be used to enhance connectivity and ensure better accessibility within the district.
