The festival of Dhuleti is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the state today. People are celebrating the festival of colours by throwing colours on each other everywhere. Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi have extended their greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Dhuleti. Various ministers and police families have joined the celebrations.
In Banthiwada village of Aravalli district, more than 50 thousand people celebrated Holika Dahan in a unique way as per the age-old tradition. While in Visnagar city in the Mehsana district, the festival of Dhuleti was celebrated in a unique way by throwing vegetables like potatoes, brinjal and tomatoes at each other.
