Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will inaugurate the Goa Book Festival today at the Campal Ground in Panaji. The festival will see the presence of over 200 stalls. Visitors can avail a 10 per cent discount on books across multiple languages, including Konkani, Marathi, and English. Director of NBT India, Yuvraj Malik, and Chairman of Lokmanya Cultural Foundation Kiran Thakur shared details of the literary celebration.
The festival will also host a star-studded lineup of speakers such as Sachin Pilgaonkar, Mrunal Kulkarni, and Acharya Prashant. With free entry, special exhibitions honouring Mario Miranda, and workshops for children, the event aims to foster a vibrant reading culture across the state. The festival will conclude on Sunday.
