Goa all set to welcome New year 2026!

 
Beaches across North and South Goa are witnessing heavy crowds ahead of New Year celebrations, with hotels and cottages fully booked in several coastal belts. The state is ready as lakhs of tourists and top Bollywood stars flock to beaches and casinos for a massive, star-studded New Year’s Eve celebration. As part of year-end celebrations, Arambol beach witnessed three-day Raponkarancho Sea Food Festival, showcasing traditional Rapaan fishing, Goan seafood, cultural performances and coastal heritage during Goa’s year-end festivities. As Goa is an international tourist destination, large numbers of visitors arrive during Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year celebrations. Director General of Police Alok Kumar said strict security arrangements have been put in place across the State to ensure safety and vigilance. He said day and night police patrolling has been intensified, with nakabandis at over 100 locations. Police are fully prepared to provide quick assistance in case of any untoward incidents.
