In Koderma Lok Sabha constituency of Jharkhand, G-4 level geological and radiometric surveys have begun to explore rare and strategic minerals under the Department of Atomic Energy’s Atomic Minerals Directorate. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh informed the Lok Sabha that the survey is assessing the presence of rare earth minerals and other critical resources.

 

Koderma MP and Union Minister Annapurna Devi stated that confirmation of these minerals will boost industrial investment, generate employment, and strengthen the country’s strategic self-reliance.

 

She expressed confidence that the resources will be utilized through a scientific and environmentally balanced process to support regional and national development.
