The fourth batch of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra has reached Sherathang, Sikkim for acclimatization today. This batch had departed from Delhi on 2nd July, and reached Bagdogra on the same day.
The batch consists of forty (40) Yatris, two (2) Liaison officers, one (1) official from Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and four support staff.
The historic Yatra kicked off on 20th June from Nathu La, where Governor of Sikkim Om Prakash Mathur himself met the first batch of 36 Yatris and flagged off the Yatra. Following their footprint, two more batches had left for the Yatra.
