In Kerala, former Travancore Devaswom Board president A. Padmakumar, an accused in the Sabarimala gold misappropriation case, has been granted bail by the Kollam Vigilance Court. The court allowed bail on his statutory plea in connection with the second case against him in the Sabarimala issue.

 

With bail secured in the second case as well, Padmakumar is now set to be released from jail. He had earlier obtained bail on 20th February in the Sabarimala doorframe case.
