The former Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai has termed Indo US agreement on tariff as a significant milestone in strengthening cooperative relationship between the two countries. In a social media post, the sitting MP from Haveri said that two of the world’s largest democracies have reached an agreement that has cut tariffs. He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong leadership is successful in safeguarding India’s national interest at the global level. By effectively leveraging his capabilities, the Prime Minister has succeeded in utilising global opportunities to further India’s development. Bommai noted that this agreement between the two nations will create new opportunities at the global level for our small industries, start ups and skilled workers.
